LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF

We must be careful not to come against our neighbors by not speaking or ignoring them. Our neighbors are our protection in the spirit. God has ordained our neighbors who live in our communities before the foundation of the earth. Therefore, we should not have strife or speak evil against our neighbors. As Christians, we are to serve our neighbors, even those who are not Christians. Serve in the sense of helping the elderly with their groceries or checking their mail, or perhaps running a quick errand to the pharmacy. This will be loving your neighbor as yourself. God will bless you for this.
As a people, we must walk circumspectly (carefully) and make sure that our neighbors that we are helping are reputable and of good standing. Never put yourself or anyone else in danger by giving your Christian service to someone who doesn’t have regards for themselves or others. Serving our neighbors should always apply to those who are in dire need: the lost, the forsaken, the destitute, especially during Christmas holiday season.
There are organizations you can give charity to. Always choose an organization that can help the needy that is universal or renown. Most of us have encountered homeless or the unfortunate. A warm meal this Christmas season will surely bring a smile on their faces, especially the little ones. Most churches have programs to help the less fortunate in their communities. This would be ideal to donate or give to your church to help those in your community.
Christmas will be here soon! Children love Christmas and they always expect toys and lots of delicious treats to satisfy their overwhelming joy that lives inside of them. God, our heavenly Father, is moving upon your hearts as we write to you this Christmas season. Some of you are saying, “I do not have a church, nor do I know of any organizations.” Family, yes, family. We all have a family. Christmas is the perfect time to buy loved ones a gift, especially if you see a need or a lack in their life. Perhaps a check in a Christmas card! This could do wonders for a relative during this holiday season. “Tis the season.”
We always give to our loved ones on Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day. This is a marvelous thing, celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Let the gift giving, Christmas parties and the delicious foods always be a blessing in our lives during the holidays. Let us, as Christians shine as lights in our communities and the world. Let us never have bitterness or strife toward our neighbors because they are our protection. Our neighbors live in front of us, behind us and beside us. God has ordained every neighbor that lives in our community to be our dwelling protection. If you are in danger with a neighbor and you don’t feel safe, God will either remove that neighbor or you. Trust him. God is good and he loves you and he wants you to be safe.
While we ponder on our blessings and the blessings toward others, never let us forget those who are less fortunate than us, especially the children. This holiday season, sow a seed to help the orphans, the needy, to your local church, or an international ministry. The children will be so glad you did. God is counting on us to help our neighbors. Jesus was asked once in the Bible, who is my neighbor? Jesus concluded in a parable that your neighbors are those who need help, and of course the neighbors in your community. Let us always remember the word that Jesus taught us, love thy neighbor as thyself.
“Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee” (PROVERBS 3:29)
“… Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matt 22:39)
Glory be to God,
